Big Brother 24 — Set In Stone

Hi, everyone!

Well, the fallout from the veto meeting is still ongoing but what thing is definitely set in stone.  Kyle will be leaving the house on Thursday.  Monte, Michael, and Brittany are planning on voting to evict him and there’s no way that any of them are going to be swayed.

Yesterday, immediately after the veto meeting, Terrance and Monte did have a conversation in which Terrance actually did try to convince Monte that it would be better to keep Kyle in the House so that Kyle could supposedly grow as a person.  (I think Terrance was more concerned with missing out on a chance to evict Taylor.)  Monte put on a pretty good act of agreeing with Terrance.  He even fooled me a little.  But, almost immediately after talking to Terrance, Monte went to Brittany and Michael and told them what Terrance had said and, most importantly, Monte affirmed that Kyle is going to have to do his growing in the jury house.

Kyle knows that he’s going.  He and Alyssa have “broken up.”  He’s been telling people not to trust Michael so Kyle’s plan appears to be to sabotage Michael on his way out.  Of course, Michael was on most people’s lists even before Kyle’s game blew up.  Monte has told Turner that, if he wins HoH, his number one target will be Michael.

The only question right now is whether or not the vote to evict Kyle will be unanimous.  Will Alyssa vote to keep him in the House even though they’ve broken up?  Will Terrance go through with his plan to give Kyle a sympathy vote?  And how will Kyle handle talking to Julie?  Earlier today, he told Brittany that he’s terrified that he’ll be booed when he steps out of the Big Brother House.

We’ll find out on Thursday!

Big Brother 24 — Week 8 Veto Meeting Results

It’s been a wild two days in the Big Brother House.

In short, Kyle’s game has completely collapsed.

Knowing that Kyle had been pushing Turner to target him this week, Michael blew up Kyle’s game.  He told everyone in the House about all of the times that Kyle had talked about betraying his various alliances.  He also let everyone know that Kyle had approached both him and Brittany about targeting all of the black players in the House so that they couldn’t form a “Cookout 2.0.”

Upon learning all of this, Terrance revealed to Monte that Kyle was the one who had pushed him to target Joseph and he also revealed that Kyle had totally sold out the Leftovers while they were living on the outside.  With everyone in the House now turning against Kyle, Turner felt that he had no choice but to put Kyle up as a replacement nominee.

Last night, Kyle had a meltdown, saying that his life was now over because Michael was saying that Kyle wanted to target all of the black players.  Fearful that he would get called a racvist during the veto meeting, Kyle told Alyssa that he wanted to self-evict.  He then disappeared into the diary room for over an hour.

Kyle did eventually leave the Diary Room so production apparently talked him down and convinced him to stay.  At the veto meeting today, Michael used the veto on Brittany and Turner put Kyle on the block.

So, is Kyle’s game over?  Probably.  Michael and Brittany will definitely be voting top evict him.  Alyssa will presumably vote to keep him.  Monte and Terrance both put a lot of pressure on Turner to put Kyle on the block.  However, Kyle apparently apologized to Monte and Terrance for targeting them and he said that he realized he had let race influence his thinking.  After the meeting, Monte and Terrance were discussing whether or not they wanted to evict Kyle, with both of them saying that they felt that Kyle could probably benefit more by staying in the House and learning than from being evicted.  Of course, what I think Monte and Terrance were actually saying is that both of them feel like they would probably lose to Taylor and this might be their last chance to get her out of the House.

That said, Monte seemed to ultimately be leaning towards voting out Kyle.  Terrance seems to be more of a question mark but I have a feeling he’ll go with the majority as far as this vote goes.  If nothing else, I imagine production would probably prefer to get rid of Kyle now, rather than have to deal with all the controversy that will come if he stays over Taylor.

We’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 24 — Week 8 Veto Results

Hi, everyone!

The veto ran late last night and I actually fell asleep before the feeds returned.  However, this morning, I woke up and I discovered that Michael won the veto!

This is a huge deal because Turner’s entire plan this week was to backdoor Michael.  That is now not going to happen and Michael has also told both Turner and Brittany that he is going to use the veto to take Brittany off the block.

Who will be the replacement nominee?  Last night, Michael told Brittany that he would try to talk Turner into putting Kyle up as a replacement.  Meanwhile, Turner told Michael that he would probably put either Alyssa or Terrance up as a replacement.  But Turner also made it clear, to Michael, that his target is Taylor.  Michael told Turner that he was fine with Taylor going.

Personally, I suspect that Monte will be the replacement, just to make sure that he doesn’t vote to keep Taylor.  But we’ll find out for sure tomorrow.

Big Brother 24 — Week 8 Nominations

Hi all!

Well, things have changed in the Big Brother House.  The Leftover Alliance is pretty much over.  Now that Joseph is gone, the members of that alliance are focusing more on their individual games and who they have to get out so that they can have a chance to win.  The new Kyle, Turner, Terrance, and Alyssa alliance now appears to be the strongest in the House, even if the rest of the Leftovers don’t really know it.  The people who were inside last week don’t seem to realize just how much the outside people bonded.  The Afterparty Alliance (as the outdoor people named themselves) have even kept the Leftovers from discovering that Kyle sold out the Leftover alliance.  They’ve insisted that Joseph was voted out because he was trying to make too many deals.  Taylor and Monte, at the very least, suspect that they’re not getting the entire story but I don’t think they understand just how committed the After Party alliance is to sticking together.

Last night, Turner won HoH.  Today, he nominated Taylor and Brittany for eviction.  However, his plan is to backdoor Michael.  Turner is trying to blindside Michael by leading him to believe that Taylor is his number one target.  However, Turner is not as slick as some of the other former HoHs.  (For one thing, he also told Michael that he wasn’t going to put Brittany on the block.)  Michael seems to suspect that Turner is planning on backdooring him and I imagine that, if he gets a chance to play for the veto, he’ll be going hard for it, both to protect himself and also save Brittany.

The veto is tomorrow!

Big Brother 24 — Tonight’s Double Eviction

The results of tonight’s double eviction really weren’t surprising.

The Inside Group evicted Jasmine on a vote of 2-0.  They all actually told Jasmine that they were going to vote to evict her last night so Jasmine was not as surprised as she pretended to be when she talked to Julie.  And though Michael, Brittany, Monte, and Taylor may been nice in their goodbye messages, that was largely just jury management.  They were all glad to see Jasmine go.

The Outside Group evicted Joseph, again on a vote of 2-0.  In his Diary Room interviews, Turner said he was joining Terrance, Alyssa, and Kyle as a member of their new alliance, the Afterparty.  Honestly, I think Turner will go with whoever has the power after the next HoH comp.

When the two groups were reunited in the House, it was a low-key reunion.  I think everyone knew Jasmine would be gone and everyone also knew that Joseph would probably be targeted by Terrance.  What the Inside Group doesn’t know is that Kyle betrayed them all.  Talking to Michael and Brittany, Kyle and Alyssa made it sound as if Terrance acted totally on his own in deciding to target Joseph.

Taylor is upset but those who were expecting her to start demanding answers were disappointed.  She told Monte that, upon seeing Joseph gone, she is now emotionally exhausted.

Assuming Turner was being honest about switching, there are now four Leftovers and Four Afterpartiers in the House so this next HoH is going to be very important.  There’s only a few more weeks left in the game.  The feeds are down for the HoH comp so we’ll see what happens when they come back.

Big Brother 24 — The Diary Room Is Now Open For Week 7

It’s that time of the week again!

Which two houseguests do you vote to evict in the first (and only?) double eviction of the season?

For the Inside Group, do you vote for

Jasmine, who is celebrating her birthday month

or

Monte, who is celebrating being in the main alliance?

For the Outside Group, do you vote for:

Joseph, the co-founder of the Leftovers

or

Kyle, the man who is destroying the Leftovers?

Cast your vote over in the poll belo (you can cast two votes this week!) or in the comments!  And then be sure to watch tomorrow to see who will be joining Indy in the Jury House!

Happy voting!

Big Brother 24 — Outdoor Feeds Are Back!

Hi, everyone!

About an hour ago, the outdoor feeds finally came back.  I can now confirm the rumors that I’m sure we’ve all seen online.  Terrance did use the veto.  Turner is off the block.  Kyle and Joseph are now the outdoor nominees.  As for how the vote it going to go, it’ll probably depend on who Terrance wants out.  Alyssa is going to want to keep Kyle but if Terrance wants to evict Kyle, all Turner has to do is vote to evict Kyle.  That would lead to a tie and Terrance would cast the deciding vote.  If Terrance says he wants Joseph gone, Kyle will probably just go with the majority.  We’ll see.  A lot of it is going to depend on whether or not Turner knows that Kyle betrayed the Leftovers.

As for the indoor group, the veto was not used.  Jasmine is going to be evicted.

Big Brother 24 — Where Are The Updates?

Hi, everyone!

Usually, I try to update this site at least once a day, even if it’s just to say that the nominations are staying the same.  But, for the past two days, the feeds have been down more often than they’ve been up.  Apparently, there were some wall yellers who started yelling about Kyle betraying Joseph and Turner and Terrance may have heard them.  As a result, the outdoor feeds have been down since Sunday.  (They briefly came back earlier today but only for a few minutes.)  As for the indoor feeds, nothing has been going on.  It’s been pretty dull, beyond Jasmine complaining about being nominated during “her birthday month.”

I do know that the outdoor veto will be tomorrow.  Hopefully, the feeds will come back and I’ll be able to tell you something definite about what’s happening.

Til then,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 24 — Week 7 Veto Winners

Okay, the two veto comps are in the books and we now have two veto winners.

For the inside group, Brittany won the veto.  This is a good result for the Leftovers because Brittany is not going to use the veto and Jasmine is going to stay on the block.

For the outside group, Terrance won the veto.  This is a bad result for the Leftovers because Terrance is probably not going to use the veto and Joseph will be sent home.  If Kyle votes for Turner and Alyssa votes for Joseph, that will force Terrance to cast the tie-breaker.  Joseph goes home and Terrance gets all the blood on his hands.

As I mentioned yesterday, Kyle told Alyssa and Terrance all about the Leftovers.  Unfortunately, Joseph and Turner do not know that he sold them out so they still think that Kyle is with them.  After the veto comp, Joseph and Turner both huddled with Kyle and discussed strategy with them and whether or not the three of them should talk to Terrance and attempt to get him to use the veto and put Alyssa on the block.  Turner and Joseph are both far too trusting and a bit clueless when it comes to Kyle.

So, as of right now, the nominations should be staying the same.  We’ll see if that is what indeed happens on Monday!
