Big Brother 25 — Another Quick Update About The Veto Meeting And The Vote

Hi, everyone.  Sorry, once again, for the late update!

At Monday’s veto ceremony, Jag did not use the veto, leaving Blue and America on the block.  The plan is to vote out Blue but, amazingly enough, Blue still seems to think that Jag is going after America.  It’s kind of amazing because everyone in the House, with the exception of Jag, has been warning Blue that she needs to campaign a little bit more and that she’s not as safe as she thinks she is but Blue appears to be convinced that she’s safe.

(Before you get too excited for a blindside, Cirie has said that she plans on telling Blue, before the live episode, that she’s going to be voted out.)

On Thursday, we’re going to have a double eviction.  Will Jag, as the current strongest player in the House, be targeted?  And will it matter since Jag will be eligible to play for the veto regardless of whether he’s on the block or not?  The House really should be terrified of Jag right now because Jag is the only one left in the House who has won a comp based on his own abilities as opposed to just randomly guessing a number.

The houseguests do seem to realize that a double eviction is probably coming up.  They’ve done the math and realized that they have one to get down to a final four.  Matt and Bowie have talked about targeting America in the double.  Matt also says that he knows he has to take out Jag but he doesn’t plan to do so until they reach the final four.

The eviction is on Thursday!  We’ll see which two players head off to the jury.  This season is nearly over, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

Big Brother 25 — A Very Quick Update

Hi, everyone!  Sorry for the lateness of this update.  Big Brother is a lot easier to cover when it airs in the summer and there’s like nothing else going on.

ANYWAY — you have probably already heard this but let’s just make it official here on the site.  Yesterday’s veto competition was won by — wait for it — JAG!

That’s right, Jag the Unbeatable!

Do the people in the House realize just how much trouble they’re in?  Here’s the thing — we have now reached the point where every houseguest will be playing in the veto.  So, forget about trying to backdoor Jag.  Jag is going to play in every veto comp until the end of the season.  With his record, he could very easily win every single remaining veto.  And considering that Jag will also be competing in future HoH comps (as long as he’s not the outgoing HoH), it’s easy to imagine Jag coasting to the finale.

Forget about Cirie.  Forget about Felecia.  They’re just sitting on the sidelines, ignored and watching.  Forget about America, Bowie, and Blue.  None of them have won a legitimately competitive competition.  Even forget about Matt.  He may be an Olympian but he sucks at this game.  Big Brother is all about Jag right now.  Imagine what the game would be like if Matt hadn’t used that power to nullify Jag’s eviction?

Veto meeting is tomorrow!  Jag is not planning on using it so Blue is on her way out, even if she doesn’t realize it.

Big Brother 25 — Week 12 Nominations

The more things change, the more they remain the same, I guess.

Last night, invisible HoH Jag was allowed to compete for HoH even though he didn’t make any effort to keep his invisible reign a secret.  Jag won the competition because Jag is the only person in the house who is capable of winning stuff.

So, for the second week in a row, Jag is HoH and he and Matt are targeting Blue for eviction because they think she’s the only person in the House who could possible win a competition.  (They’re probably right.)

Currently, America and Blue are on the block.

The veto is tomorrow!

This all seems very familiar.

Big Brother 25 — About Tonight

Hi, everyone!

As I’m sitting here and waiting to discover who the new HoH is and how Johnny Mac is going to be involved with the HoH comp, here’s a quick recap of what happened tonight.

Cory, who entered the house bragging about his skill as a public speaker, gave a terrible eviction speech and was then voted out by a vote of 5-0.  Cory is out but America is still in the House and, if she wins HoH, she’ll probably go after Matt and Jag.  Of course, she would actually have to win a comp to do that.

As I watched tonight’s episode, I found myself thinking about how past Big Brother contestants would never have revealed that they were the invisible HoH.  But this season, Jag ran around the house and let everyone know that he was the HoH.  For all of his strength in competitions, Jag is not a good strategist.  My issue is why should Jag get to compete for HoH tonight when he didn’t keep up his part of the invisible HoH twist.

There’s only three weeks left and we’ve got a double eviction next Thursday!  We’ll survive the rest of this season, I’m sure!

Big Brother 25 — Veto Meeting Results

Hi, everyone!

So, I am totally shocked to tell you that Jag did not wimp out but instead, at the veto meeting, he went through with his plan.  Blue used the veto on herself.  Jag used the veto on Felecia.  Cory and America went up as the replacement nominees.

Needless to say, America is not happy at all.  Now, this is an Invisible HoH week and, if Jag could actually keep a secret, he could have had the opportunity to do all of this anonymously.  He could have targeted Cory and America without having to worry about either one of them coming after him next week.  But, because Jag is a terrible strategist, he has basically let everyone in the House know that he’s the Invisible HoH.  America is extremely angry about being nominated and she knows exactly who to blame.

Anyway, either Cory or America will be heading to the jury house on Thursday!  It could be an explosive week before that because both Cory and America have enough information that they could potentially blow up a few people’s games on their way out.

We’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 25 — A Quick Invisible HoH Update

Hi, everyone!

This is just a quick update to let you know what’s going on in the House.  Jag is the Invisible HoH, which isn’t really a shock since, with Cameron gone, Jag is now the only person left in the House who is consistently good at competitions.  The Invisible HoH itself had the potential to be an intriguing twist but, Jag being Jag, he couldn’t keep it a secret.  First, he told Matt.  Then he told America, Cory, and Bowie.  Meanwhile, Matt told Cirie.  So, the majority of the house knows that Jag is the HoH.

Jag nominated Felecia and Blue for eviction.  However, at the veto competition on Saturday, two vetoes were won.  Blue won the 1st veto and Jag won the 2nd veto.  (Cirie and Felecia came in last at both comps and both were given punishments.  Felecia went into solitary confinement for 24 hours.  Cirie, meanwhile, has to change in and out of a super hero costume.)

Originally, Jag’s plan was to put Cirie up as a replacement if either Blue or Felecia came down.  However, Jag’s current plan seems to be to take Felecia down with his veto while Blue, of course, is going to take herself down.  Then, America and Cory will go up as replacements.

That’s actually a pretty clever plan, Jag.  Too bad you told Cory and America that you’re the invisible HoH so it’s not like you’ll be able to do it without getting a lot of blood on your hands!

The veto meeting is tomorrow!  We’ll see if Jag goes through with his plan or if he chickens out.

Big Brother 25 — Week 11 HoH and Nominations

Hi, everyone!

Sorry for the late update.  Here’s the situation in the House!

The HoH is officially hidden but we, the viewers, know that Jag is the HoH because, as soon as he found out he had won, he told Matt.  I don’t believe he’s told anyone else yet, though I do know he was thinking of letting America and Cory know as well.

As for the nominations, Felecia and Blue are on the block.  Jag told Matt that Cirie would be his pick for a replacement if either one of them comes down as a result of the veto.

The veto comp is tomorrow!

Big Brother 25 — About Tonight

SPOILERS IN CASE YOU HAVEN’T SEEN TONIGHT’S SHOW

So, here we are.  71 days into Big Brother 25 and finally, we have got our first member of the jury.  For comparison, Dan won Big Brother 10 on the 71st day of the competition.

As for our first juror, it’s Cameron.  He was voted out of the house by a unanimous 6-0 vote.  I can’t say that I was surprised to see Cameron go because he was obviously a huge threat when it came to competitions and he really didn’t make much of an effort to campaign to stay.  I think he saw the writing on the wall and knew that there wasn’t much chance of flipping the vote this week.

But what about next week?  Well, apparently, the big twist is that the identity of the HoH is going to be a secret, even from the houseguests.  So, unless the new HoH tells someone that they’re the HoH (and I imagine that they probably will), we won’t find out their identity for sure until Sunday.  We’ll say how that works out.

For now, the important thing is that the most dominant player in the House, Cameron, has been voted out.  It’ll be interesting to see how this changes the house dynamic.  Will Jag or Matt finally step up or will Cory run the house?  Or will Cirie finally start playing the game?  We’ll see what happens!
